"GSR Meeting"

The primary purpose of the Orange County Area Service Committee is to serve and support the NA groups and subcommittees common to the welfare of Narcotics Anonymous. This is done by the groups communicating their needs and problems so that they may function effectively and better carry the message to the still suffering addict.

Public Information

Public Information is a sub committe that serves as a liason between the NA program and the community. Our goal is to inform the public about who, what, and where we are. We meet at 3:00 pm. on the Last Saturday of every month at C.A.R.E. Counseling Center 631 S. Brookhurst Ave. #205, Anaheim, CA 92805 - (2 blocks north of Ball Road - Next Door to the Honeybaked Ham Building) /Map

Phonelines

The purpose of the Orange County Area Phonelines is to carry the message of Narcotics Anonymous through development and maintenance of an area wide phoneline, which directs the still suffering addict and others to meetings.

Hospitals and Institutions

Hospitals and Institutions (H & I) carries the Narcotics Anonymous message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular N.A. meetings. H & I meetings or presentations, except for those in long term facilities, are intended to simply introduce those attending to some of the basics of the NA program.

H&I meets at 3:30pm on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 12211 Magnolia Ave., Garden Grove Friends Church.(Magnolia & Chapman) /Map

Activities Committee

Activities is a subcommittee that puts on events for members of the Narcotics Anonymous fellowship. These events gives addicts a chance to have fun and participate in healthy, drug-free, social environments.

The Activites Committee meets at 8:30am on the 3rd Saturday of every month at

Dare To Care

Dare To Care is a subcommittee that puts on a yearly event known as the Sponsor/Sponsee Brunch

Dare To Care meets at 3:00pm on the 3rd Sunday of every month at the Anaheim Alano Club, 202 W. Broadway. /Map (CS - Lemon)

Area Service Office

The function of the Area Service Office is to supply the Narcotics Anonymous groups with literature and other items. They also have supplies available at Area events.

The ASO meets at 2pm on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 12211 Magnolia Ave. in the Garden Grove Friends Church. (CS - Magnolia & Chapman) They are open for literature sales on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 4pm to 7pm. Service on the 4th Sunday of every month has been discontinued. /Map
